Membership
Membership begins with a nomination.
Cielo y Mar is built around the people who experience it.
We do not sell places on a journey. We invite people into a community and travel together from there. That order matters, and it is the reason membership is closed.
The community grows only through its own members, deliberately and slowly. There is no application queue and no public sign-up.
The path
Nomination
A current member puts forward someone they know well. Each member holds five nominations for life. No more are issued.
Consideration
Every nomination is reviewed privately. We look for people who add something to a room, not credentials.
Conversation
Those selected are invited to a conversation. It is not an interview. It is how we decide together whether this is the right community.
Invitation
Membership is extended by invitation. It is confirmed once the membership arrangement is settled with us directly.
Founding Members
The first names.
A limited group of Founding Members forms the origin of Cielo y Mar. Each is recognised permanently, in sequence, beginning with CYM 001.
Founding Members are the first to travel with us, the first to nominate, and the standing reference for who this community is for.
